It is 82 kilometers west of Jiangyin Yangtze River Highway Bridge and 108 kilometers east of the Yangtze River Estuary. The Sutong Bridge is 8.2 kilometers long. It connects with Yantong Expressway, Ningtong Expressway, and Tongqi Expressway on the north bank, and Sujiahang Expressway and Yanjiang Expressway on the south bank. Its main span reaches 1088 meters, making it the world's second longest span cable-stayed bridge. Its main tower is 300.4 meters high, making it the world's second tallest bridge tower.
